I have a rip in my pool liner that goes from the top of the corner to about 2 feet down?

Einstein asked:
I think it was started by a squirrel knawing at it since it’s all chewed up. It’s an inground pool. Now the water has leaked out to 2 feet lower. Can it be patched? The pool has been sitting for a while.

For the heavy wait liner material people that put it can be patched but not sure how long it can be patched but not sure they were ok when.
For the heavy wait liner our pool is 18 by 36 cost us less than 200000 for the same reason or almost the heavy wait.
